FX Motor Sports Junior Driver Nick Rowland has recently enjoyed a very hectic month as he continues his British and Chinese rally championship programmes alongside David Higgins.
After a fantastic 2nd place on the Pirelli International Rally, Rowland arrived at the Jim Clark Rally excited to tackle his first proper tarmac rally and hopefully collect another healthy haul of points. | Rowland Takes a Surprise 2nd Place |

FX Motor Sport’s junior driver Nick Rowland had a successful British Rally Championship debut last weekend taking 2nd overall in the Suzuki Swift Sport Cup, despite retiring from Friday night’s stages due to an overheating engine through stage 1.
The 19 year old still managed 3rd fastest time through the opening stage despite backing off to preserve the engine. However Nick’s efforts were in vain and Rowland would have to resort to super rally rules to complete the opening leg, leaving the MSA British Rally Academy member with 30 minutes of penalties and little hope of a strong finish.

FX Motor Sports driver Nick Rowland has teamed up with the vastly experienced co-driver Tim Sturla ahead of the 19 year olds first British Rally Championship event, the Pirelli International Rally, where the pair will fight it out in the inaugural Suzuki Swift Sport Cup.
It will be Rowland’s first visit to Kielder forest and, with a new car and team to deal with, Sturla’s knowledge of the event will be a welcome addition. Tim is no stranger to the BRC having competed with several different drivers over 5 seasons. | Nick Joins FX Motor Sports |

Teenager Nick Rowland will make his debut in the British Rally Championship in 2008. The youngster is set to join former British champion, David Higgins, in the newly formed FX Motor Sports team.
Rowland will join the team alongside Higgins and TQ boss Hugh Evans who will both be campaigning Group N machinery. Rowland will join as the team’s junior driver competing in the inaugural Suzuki Swift Sport Cup.
